Improving the efficiency of food enterprise based on the principles of lean production (on the example of Pims)

Abstract

The article reviewed the principles of lean manufacturing and their practical application in the activities of Pims. As part of the study, theoretical experience on the research topic was summarized, the main financial performance indicators of Pims were analyzed, and a system of measures was developed to implement the principles of lean manufacturing. The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that in the context of companies' desire to increase production efficiency, the introduction of lean manufacturing principles becomes critically important. Efficient use of resources, reduction of waste and energy consumption are becoming important factors not only for increasing the competitiveness of companies, but also for meeting the requirements of sustainable development and environmental responsibility. The purpose of the research is to develop a system to improve the efficiency of the company through the introduction of lean manufacturing principles. Research methods: analysis of scientific literature, statistical and mathematical analysis, modeling, generalization. In the course of the research, a system of measures was developed to implement the principles of lean manufacturing at Pims. The article discusses the features of the principles of lean manufacturing, the advantages and disadvantages of lean manufacturing tools. As part of the study, the company's performance indicators were analyzed, and a plan for the implementation of the 5S system was described. At the end, an assessment of the economic efficiency of the implementation of this system is given.
